It’s finally time for the BET Awards, a yearly event that honors Black talent that has been going on since 2001.
This year’s celebration, which is held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, also honors the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. Coco Jones, Doechii, Eva Marcille, and Summer Walker are just a few of the A-list celebrities that have already arrived at this year’s awards ceremony. Many more are yet to come.
The star-studded event will include performances by Bia, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, and Tyga in addition to a moving Tina Turner tribute by Grammy Award-winning singer Patti LaBelle, which can be seen live on the BET network.

Latto
In a black plunging gown, Latto put her own unique touch on the sensual sheer trend. The rapper chose to wear a black bikini top beneath, and his outfit resembled a seductive black robe with a wrap-around feature at the chest and a train that resembled a pool.
GloRilla
The singer GloRilla, well known for her track “Tomorrow,” sported a silver sequin dress with a black bralette attachment and a feather hem. The rapper wore a black opera glove with link chains and a mermaid-style dress.
Summer Walker
Summer Walker, an R&B singer, arrived at the BET Awards in a stunning Yousef Al Jasmi gown. Walker accessorized the ensemble with a dramatic purple lip, black peep-toe shoes, and chainmail-inspired sequins over a nude background.
Lil Uzi Vert
Lil Uzi Vert came to the BET Awards wearing clothing from Louis Vuitton, which had just shown its spring 2024 menswear collection in Paris earlier in the month. He then took the stage there. Vert’s outfit was designed by Pharrell Williams for guys and included a black bomber jacket with black pearl accents, graphic-detailed pants, and a medium-sized duffel bag.
Eva Marcille
Eva Marcille, a former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant, based her 2023 BET Awards outfit on Genny’s autumn 2022 ready-to-wear fashion presentation. She combined stunning mermaid-inspired bra with the brand’s wide-leg leggings with leopard spots.
Doechii
At the BET Awards, Doechii adopted a Barbiecore look by donning a soft pink crop top with bright pink spikes. The artist wore bootcut low-rise jeans and short hairstyles to complete her look, which included Y2K-inspired elements.
Coco Jones
At the BET Awards, Coco Jones made a striking entrance wearing a crimson LaQuan Smith gown with cuts around her breast and torso. The singer took up the prize for Best New Artist during the awards ceremony.
